Cloud Computing Adoption by Universities: Concepts and Review

Abstract: Educational Institutions are under increasing pressure to deliver more for less and they need to find ways to offer rich, affordable services and tools. Cloud computing has the potential to provide computation and storage resources as services. The objective of this paper is to lend some understanding on cloud in terms of its services, deployments types, cloud definition, and implementing by academic institute a as solution to reduce IT resources costs and minimize the current processing time of employees tasks.
