Uncontrolled Severe Vomiting in the Post Operative Period following an Emergency Laparotomy for Appendicectomy on Third Post Operative Day

Abstract: In routine pre anaesthetic evaluation, history of migraine and motion sickness is often not elicited. These entities can lead to troublesome post operative nausea and vomiting. In this study we discuss what went wrong initially and the subsequent remedial measures we resorted to get out of the mess.
