The Model of a Unified Human Resource Management Application for Tertiary Institutions on the Cloud

Amadi E. C. | Ndukwe G. I | Nwakanma I. C.

Abstract: In Cloud Computing, users connect to the 'Cloud', appearing as a single entity as opposed to multiple servers. This work presents to tertiary institutions a model for setting up a scalable and cost effective platform for institutional human resource management on the cloud with focus on academic staff. The real-time evolutionary prototyping methodology was adopted for this model because of its continuous modification feature. This model can be deployed on any cloud computing platforms that provides platformas-a service like Force. com. The work involves the design of a flexible database structure using ERD diagram and flow charts.
