Brain Tumor & Skull Fracture Detection Using MATLAB

Shrawan Kumar [4] | Nitesh Kumar [4]

Abstract: In medical image processing it is the most challenging to detect the abnormalities found in the Human Brain like a Brain tumor and fracture in cranial or Skull fracture detection. This paper describes, and the proposed strategy to detect & extraction of such abnormalities brain tumor and fracture in the skull from the patients MRI scan images of the brain. This concept incorporates with some noise removal functions, segmentation, and Morphological operations which are the basic the basic concepts of the image processing. Detection and extraction of tumor and fracture from the MRI scan images of the brain are done by using MATLAB software.
