Hepatoprotective Activity of Spices

Abstract: In history, spices have often been more valuable than gold or precious stones, and the trade of spices has been an extraordinarily influential factor. Many researchers have attempted to explain why spices are pleasant to taste. This work intends to aid researchers in the study of natural products useful in the treatment of liver diseases. The present work constitutes a review of the spices of natural origin with hepatoprotective activity.
