Methods for Dynamic Characteristics Estimation of Bridge: An Overview

Milind Kosarwal | Sarvesh K Jain

Abstract: Dynamic characteristics of bridge need to be determined for seismic design of bridge. A wide variety of field test and modelling of the bridge have been done to determine the dynamic characteristics of the bridge. This paper intends to present various research works carried out on analytical and experimental methods to evaluate dynamic characteristics of bridges. Paper gives an overview of work published by the researcher and their findings vibration testing, modelling of the bridge, which conducted on different bridges are presented.
