Abstract: Myocardial infraction is the irreversible death of the heart due to lack of oxygen that occur when the blood supply is reduced or cutoff and isn't restored in an appropriate period of time. This study was Aimedto assessthe myocardial perfusion in SPECT images and manipulatethose images by a function written in the Interactive Data Language (IDL) software to normalize the image using the range of count thatclassify the muscles of the heart whether normal, mild, moderate or severe. Then after recognition of each part on the image the same process will be applied on the subsequentslice for the whole heart, and the number of pixels in each part will counted to find a percentage of the heart classes. The result shows we can estimate the classes of stress test from rest test without stress the patients.
