The Growth of Dragon Fruit Seedling on Several Type and Doses of Mycorrhiza

The aims of this study were to find out type and doses of mycorrhiza and its interaction that could gave the best growth on dragon fruit seedling. This study used completely randomized design (CDR), which consists of two factors. The first factor was the type of mycorrhiza which consist 3 type of mycorrhiza (Glomusfasciculatum, Glomusaggregatumand Glomusmosseae) and the second factor was the doses of mycorrhiza which consist of 4 doses (0g plant-1, 1g plant-1, 2g plant-1, 3g plant-1). The result showed that the type of mycorrhizaGlomusfasciculatum provide the highest growth than the other types of mycorrhiza.The highest growth provided by doses 2g plant-1 than the other dosages.There was no interaction between type and doses of mycorrhizatoward the growth of dragon fruit seedling. However, the combination treatment of the type of mycorrhizaGlomusfasciculatum and doses 2g plant-1likely provided the best effect on plant height, the number of branches, stem diameter, the number of roots, and root length of dragon fruit seedling.
