Perception of Undergraduate Nursing Students Regarding Online Learning during COVID-19 Second Wave

Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). The fight against COVID-19 remains ongoing in India as COVID-19 second wave which again forced to shut down colleges and started online classes. Objective: to assess the perception of undergraduate nursing students towards online learning during Covid-19 second wave. Methodology: A descriptive, cross sectional survey study was conducted on 200 undergraduate nursing students through snowball sampling technique. Result: the result showed that 57.5% of samples had negative perception regarding online classes. Conclusion: The study highlights that online learning is a powerful tool for the continuity of teaching and learning process for nursing students in India during Covid-19 second wave. Administration and teaching faculty members should take necessary measures for improving online learning for better learning during this pandemic.
