The Use of Aloe Vera as a Natural Thickening Agent for the Printing of Cotton Fabric with Natural Dyes

Abstract: In this present work the effect of the addition of aloe Vera into printing paste as part of the thickener, when printing with natural dyes, on the spectral values of the printed fabric, is examined. Furthermore, the effect of aloe Vera on the color fastness properties and on the fabric sewability is also investigated.
