An Empirical Study on the Influencing Factors of Residents Consumption Level in China-Take Shanghai as an Example
Yaoqun Zheng, Yaping Li
This paper makes an empirical analysis of the impact factors of Shanghai residents' consumption level by using the time data of Shanghai and the Eviews software from 1996 to 2015. The results show that disposable income of urban residents, consumption level of rural residents, savings, consumer price index and natural population growth rate have a positive correlation with the consumption level of Shanghai residents. The effect of disposable income and saving on the consumption level of residents in Shanghai is more obvious.
