Job Satisfaction and its Triggers among Tunisian High Institutes of Sport and Physical Education Teachers

Abstract: The objective of this study was to evaluate the influence of certain socio-professional background on job satisfaction of teachers in higher institutes of sport and physical education in Tunisia.269 teachers male and female with mean ages (43, 21 7, 704) answered the questionnaire of Vallado et al. (2003). Our study has shown that socio-professional antecedents significantly affect teacher job satisfaction. Also, we found that these triggers are variable depending on age, gender, grade, seniority, marital situation etc which indicate the positive correlation between individual characteristics and socio-professional triggers of teachers satisfaction.
