Dr. Neelima Balakrishnan, Dr. Vandhana Sundaram, Dr. Jagadeesh Kumar Reddy

Abstract: Descemet membrane scrolls in the anterior chamber are a rare consequence of birth trauma. This photo essay presents the case of a 28-year-old student with a history of forceps-assisted delivery, who exhibited a taut Descemet membrane scroll in the anterior chamber of the right eye with no corneal scars or opacities. The patient?s vision was corrected conservatively with spectacles, and the case highlights the atypical presentation of unilateral involvement and the remarkable clarity of the cornea despite the injury.

Keywords: Descemet membrane scroll, forceps delivery, ocular birth trauma, corneal clarity, irregular astigmatism
